October 2007 — Alex begins directing the world premier of Bruce J. Robinson’s award winning play “Another Vermeer” for Theatre 40. OPENING FEBRUARY 8th, 2008

July 8, 2007 — Alex's son Parker Sydney Wagner Mann is born. He is a beautiful baby boy, born 7 lbs. 11 oz.

June 2007 — Alex begins shooting a recurring role on NBC’s Las Vegas playing Oscar, the surveillance expert.
Alex receives critical acclaim for his direction of Shanley’s “Savage In Limbo” at the Skylight Theatre.

June 2006 — Alex stars in “The Tenth Man” directed by Gene Reynolds at the Skylight Theatre for Camelot Artists.

May 2006 — Alex directs his first two short films, “Benny” and “Love & Marriage”.

January 2006 — Alex shoots a recurring role for the CBS pilot, “Vanished”.

August 2005 — Alex directs Neil LaBute's "Autobahn" for the Alchemy Players, a new theatre group founded by himself and Marty Papazian. It is uniquely mounted on a sound stage (stage 12) at Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood. It plays to sold out audiences.

January 2005 — Alex attends the Slamdance Film Festival as a part of the cast of David Greenspan's "Mallcop".

December 2004 — Alex wins the Entertainment Weekly's Ticket Holder Award for Best Director.

April 2004 — Alex make his directorial debut with Eric Bogosian's "Suburbia". The production opens to rave reviews and is later nominated for many awards.

July 2004 — Alex begins principal photography on Steven Rothblatt's "Oh, Baby". He stars as a Jewish man desperate to have a child, but runs into an array of problems when he falls in love with a transgender.

2001 — Alex appears in his first starring role playing Barry in Henry Jaglom's "Festival In Cannes". It premiers in LA and NY, and rolls out in theatres across the country, distributed by Paramount Classics.
